Chicken breast with sweet and sour topping

ingredients

• 1 cup ( 250 ml) Spread apricot Smucker's ® No Sugar Added
• 2 tbsp.  (30 ml ) soy sauce
• 2 tsp (tea sp)  ( 10 mL) Worcestershire sauce
• ¼ cup (50 mL ) rice vinegar
• 2  tsp ( 10 mL) grated fresh ginger or 1 tsp ( 5 ml) dried if
• 4 boneless , skinless chicken , hammered ( for thinning )
• Salt and pepper to taste

1. Preheat oven to 400 ° F (200 ° C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2 . Combine first 5 ingredients in a small saucepan . Bring to a boil , stirring constantly . Reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat .
3 . Reserve half of the sauce and spread the rest over the chicken breasts. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until the temperature inside the chicken reaches 165 ° F ( 75 ° C)
